the lens wont budge and i dont have a budget to fix this PROBLEM. I put the screw back and the camera works like a charm. Any ideas on how to fix it? I have a Canon PowerShot SD200 which had the e18 error. navigate here

Let the lens push the camera up and down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the camera is enough to get things going again.Try hitting your camera Like everything else manufactured this day and age, digital cameras are no different....its all over-priced,disposable junk. It seems that many of the Fuji cameras suffer from this zoom error problem so maybe a change of brand is in order. The lens will not retract into the camera.
