reformat hard-drive and reinstall windows g. I tried the "SFC/scanow", but it didn't work. Good luck.
As I was trying to decide what to try next, the screen seemed to blink and the USB mouse stared working, but it also gave the indication that new hardware was Loading... If this does clear up the problem then install a new antivirus program. Chkdsk I can't pinpoint any software problems.

Do all your necessary maintenance i.e. Installed Adobe 8 Reader and Flash Player, Media Player 11, and a few other software programs.
